So, firstly we decided to put up a unique name in order to make our page's name totally different from the name of the other pages that were available on Instagram at that time. And after deciding the name and posting some pictures finally our own FOOD PAGE was up on Instagram. We were so excited at that time that all our focus was on our Food Page ONLY. Social Media- A Vicious Circle

Image
Social media nowadays has become a huge part of our lives. It is that vicious circle that has made us wrap our whole lives around these platforms without even realizing it. The millennials today can’t go a day without socializing on these networking sites. I being a part of the millennial feels that the reason for this is that social media has created a virtual world for us. We tend to seek validation from these platforms or from the people we meet online. Social media has given people today a sense that there is a possibility of existence of “perfect life”. But it’s all a myth. The Instagram profiles or Snapchat stories are not the reality of one’s life but just a part that one is willing to showcase to us. Imagine a small fish living with its family happily and suddenly, a fisherman snatches it out of its comfort zone by catching it in the net, unable to fight, the poor creature dies. Imagine you are that fish. Horrifying it is, isn't it? One of such situations would be when you are happy & comfortable at your workplace and your company shifts you to a big, unknown city, where you have no contacts, no family and friends, there is different language and so on. Now, how would you cope up such a sudden dynamic change?  So, I was working at a private sector in Bangalore where my life was totally happening. Friends being family, the place being a second home to me, creating memories that turned into nostalgia...
